Hyperlogistics Group, Inc., a 3rd Parly Logistics Provider (3PL) specializing in warehouse and distribution services, is looking for an Accountant with HR experience in order to fill our PART-TIME Accounting Manager position. This is an on-site position, working Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. Our headquarters located near Rickenbacker Airport.
What We Are Looking For:
Reporting to the CEO, this position will be responsible for managing and conducting all day-to-day accounting operations. As there are no direct reports for this position, the successful candidate will be expected to perform all accounting activities within the accounting department as well as to cover the basic HR functions minus staffing and safety. This role will give the candidate an opportunity to experience and understand a wide range of our business operations through the management of financial reporting, receivables and payables and the support of the organizations company-wide activities and HR functions. Our ideal candidate is analytical, self-confident, will take the initiative when needed and is an excellent project manager that can be self-sufficient in task completion.

In 2019, we began a transition to an Employee-Owned Company as a part of our succession plan for the future of the company. In 2020, the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) was created and currently is the sole shareholder.

What You’ll Do:
- Maintenance, administration and supervision of the general Accounting and HR systems and functions.
- Review and report accounting results.
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial operating reports.
- Maintain banking records.
- Develop, implement, and apply appropriate accounting procedures, in accordance with Company and professional guidelines.
- Process weekly payroll through the company’s Payroll system.
- Accounts Payable.
- Accounts Receivable.
- Input and maintain all data in company’s Payroll and HR systems.
- Provide general support of the company’s HR processes and procedures.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of HR experience.
- General knowledge and understanding of accounting practices.
- Previous experience conducting financial statement preparation and closings.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Independent, self-starting, team player with a positive attitude.
- Recent QuickBooks experience of a minimum of 2 years.
- Proficient PC skills, 10 key ability and Microsoft excel a must.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
