Hyperquake’s Sales Development Associate will serve as the strategic liaison between Marketing and the Business Development teams – responsible for driving new, qualified leads and nurturing existing prospects. Through proactive outreach and networking, this person’s focus is the top of the funnel, building a pipeline of prospects for our Brand, Growth Marketing and Experiential Marketing teams.
This role attracts and engages the companies and brands we want to work with while seeking to find visionary leaders who are in need of our services and interested in hiring Hyperquake. Once a qualified lead has been established, you will transition the relationship to one of our business development leaders to close.
This is a hybrid role, eligible for placement in one of our office locations in Cincinnati, OH, Salt Lake City, UT, or NYC.
Responsibilities :
Identify and Qualify Leads
- Research companies and brands who may need Hyperquake’s services across Brand, Growth Marketing, and Experiential Marketing using tools like ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other resources.
- Strategically identify opportunities such as conferences, industry events, and paid communities where new business opportunities exist.
- Initiate connections with potential leads via LinkedIn and / or email to build relationships.
- Use CRM tools like HubSpot to track sales activities, manage data, and maintain an organized pipeline.
Engage and Nurture Leads
Serve as the first point of contact, understanding potential clients’ business challenges and determining fit.Confidently communicate Hyperquake’s unique service capabilities, expertise, and approach.Shadow business development leads initially, then with time, independently lead first conversations to qualify opportunities for prospects.Build personalized “capes” presentations for unique business opportunities with prospects.Drive Collaboration and Efficiency
Enhance workflows between Business Development and Marketing to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Work closely with Marketing to understand the content plan and weekly activities to support sales efforts. Provide feedback on client-facing materials (e.g., case studies and testimonials) to improve effectiveness.Monitor and Analyze Opportunities
Focus efforts on driving high-quality leads that can convert into viable prospects with proposal opportunities.Research industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to provide actionable insights for the sales and marketing teams.Provide client-specific insights and data to assist in closing deals.Actively contribute in weekly sales meetings, preparing sales reports for lead generation along with forecasting and performance metrics towards goals.Communicate feedback from your prospect interactions to Marketing to refine campaigns, messaging and lead-generation efforts.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, Communications or a related field.2 years of experience in sales coordination / inside or outside sales, business development, marketing, or a similar role (preferably within a creative or marketing agency).Proven track record of driving high quality leads for an organization.Experience and passion selling brand strategy, design, growth / performance marketing and experiential marketing services.Experience creating and managing content for sales outreach and lead generation.
