This is the base pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire.
Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors.

As the Team Leader/Manager of Engineering, you will:
- Grow high-performing Scrum teams developing our CNC systems by leading through the forming, storming, norming, and performing stages of team development.
- Enable the development and career growth of the individuals on the Controls Engineering Team.
- Successfully interact with individuals across the organization, including other business teams and manufacturing, to ensure cohesive collaboration.
- Work closely with the Engineering Director and peers in Engineering, Operations and Marketing to deliver our product platform strategy.
- Communicate proactively and frequently with all stakeholders to maintain alignment and address any issues promptly.
- Lead the team to identify problem areas, uphold product quality, and drive innovation.
- Actively participate as a key member of the Controls Engineering Steering Team and the broader Software Engineering Leadership Team.
- B.S., Engineering or Computer Science degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in software product development and 5 years team leadership with demonstrated experience in product design and development of world class products designed for professional or industrial end-users
- 3-5 years’ experience leading diverse technical teams and managing an engineering lab for product and technology development
- Ability to partner and to collaborate with people at all levels and influence and build buy-in
- Experience building real-time and embedded systems
- Proven track record of team management skills
- Strong knowledge and experience in Agile Scrum methodology and implementation
- Experience leading the entire software development life cycle and implementing best practices
- Experience mentoring and training the engineering community on complex technical issues
- Scrum certifications and experience – Scrum Master, Product Owner, etc.
- Experience developing and using CNCs
- Experience in related industry (welding, plasma cutting, waterjet, laser, power supply)
- Knowledge and practicum of CI/CD principles, DevSecOps, Atlassian tool suite, Git
