Primary Function :

Make an immediate impact on an exciting and rapidly growing Workplace Technology team that is at the leading edge of audio visual solutions, structured cabling, security and other communication platforms. In this position, you will apply your expert audio visual, low voltage, and security knowledge to consult clients on the best technology solutions for their diverse needs. Though this position will require knowledge of all workplace technologies, the main focus of this role will be audio visual and collaboration systems within workplace environments.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Support Account Management teams to develop a technical AV scope of work for clients, create quotes, and align operational teams for accurate and efficient installation approach
- Assist in gathering scope requirements for AV, LV, security and other elements of Hyphn’s business when applicable, help to connect correct team members for other scopes when necessary
- Act as a mentor and practice leader to other sales engineers
- Take ownership of the sales cycle, perfect Hyphn’s current project flow and continuously look for ways to improve
- Take an active role with other Senior Sales Engineers to develop D-Tools to be consistent and conducive to better outputs and quicker turnaround times
- Develop trusting relationships with new and existing clients
- Actively develop new business via multiple methods, including social and networking events as well as client calls, emails and other forms of CRM follow ups when necessary
- Develop new methods of engagement within different business verticals at Hyphn
- Pioneer new tactics of developing technology business and train other Sales Engineers and Hyphn team members on effective practices
- Wear many hats to ensure the whole team delivers a successful project from start to finish
- Stay up to date with will current technology trends and advancements to provide the most effective solutions for our clients
- Work with clients through the discovery phase and develop a concept design tailored to their needs
- Provide budgetary assistance for clients to help classify their investment
- Work closely with our design engineering team to specify solutions that adhere to the client’s needs
- Provide sufficient project information to the project team to move the project forward at each phase
- Help lead a project team through projects while liaising with clients to maintain a highly professional and consistent client experience throughout a project’s duration
- Organize and run detailed project handoff and kickoff meetings with necessary internal teams
- Maintain Hyphn’s CRM with client information, project information, and detailed pipeline forecasting
- Maintain client relationships and act as the main client POC throughout the duration of projects
- Maintain active communication with project managers to ensure projects are adhering to milestones and objectives
- Work with cross-functional Hyphn teams to ensure success for all business lines in a holistic manner
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
