Job Summary:
The Claims Advocate will utilize technical expertise to manage complex workers’ compensation claims, ensuring favorable results through thorough investigation and analysis of work-related incidents. This role requires a solid understanding of workers’ compensation laws and the ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders throughout the claims process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex, lost time, and litigation workers’ compensation claims.
- Calculate indemnity payments to ensure timely disbursement.
- Navigate multiple jurisdictions and apply relevant workers’ compensation laws effectively.
- Collaborate with management, HR, defense counsel, and third-party interests to enhance the claims handling process.
- Assess the validity of claims through strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:
