Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Compensation Specialist based at our Greenville, NC location.
What you will do:
- Administer compensation programs, including tracking and calculating incentive payments and maintaining accurate records of targets and payments.
- Monitor travel for tax withholding compliance and provide updates to ensure adherence to regulations.
- Support global compensation committee processes by maintaining files, tracking actions, and updating agendas and calendars.
- Evaluate jobs to ensure accurate classification, consistency in approvals, and streamlined processes for record-keeping.
- Conduct research and analyze compensation and benefit data to support salary studies, market analyses, and proposals.
- Assist in special projects such as acquisition support and addressing compensation trends or concerns through thorough analysis and resolution.
- Prepare reports and documentation to communicate findings and provide actionable recommendations.

What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in analyzing, designing, and/or administering compensation programs.
- 3-5 years of experience in lieu of degree.
Skills, Experience & Abilities
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including proficiency with formulas and data analysis.
- General understanding of finance concepts and the ability to interpret and apply data effectively.
- Familiarity with job evaluation processes and HR policies and practices.
- Project management experience, with the ability to plan and execute tasks efficiently.
