What you will do:
Compensation Administration:
- The Compensation Analyst will administer compensation programs for HYMH employees to comply with plan guidelines and government regulations.
- Function as a compensation subject matter expert and primary support for Human Resources Operations to ensure consistency and compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Monitor intra-state and intra-theatre travel for tax withholding compliance.
- Maintain compensation records required for reporting to the Hyster Yale Board of Directors
- Communication of incentive compensation programs and calculation of payouts under established programs
Workday Configuration:
- Maintain the integrity and reliability of the organization’s HRIS (Workday), ensuring solution continuity and functionality that meets the requirements and objectives of the business by evaluating, implementing, and supporting compensation and payroll functionality within the Workday HRIS.
- Make decisions on support issues and recommendations for enhanced functionality
- Provide support for all business areas by researching and resolving application problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet business objectives.
- Offer technical solutions to gain process efficiency and improve data integrity.
- Implement improvements through design, configuration, testing and launch.
- Support semi-annual Workday system updates with testing and implementation of new features
- Prepare and maintain reports and dashboards for key stakeholders.
- Develop and enhance working knowledge through training, independent research, and testing to stay apprised of new Workday product functionality and Workday best practices.
Job Evaluation:
- Recommendations to enhance efficiency, accuracy and consistency within the job evaluation process
- Administration and facilitation of monthly job evaluation committee
- Maintenance and recordkeeping of job description data warehouse
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, or related field.
- 3-5 years experience in the analysis, design and/or administration of compensation programs.
- 3-5 years experience in business application implementation, configuration, development, and support (Workday preferred).
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formula writing, lookup functions, PIVOT tables)
Skills, Experience & Abilities:
- Project Management Skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of finance theory and applications; demonstrated ability to interpret data, make sound recommendations.
- U.S. Payroll processing and the understanding of Compensation theory
- Demonstrated competencies in statistical and financial analysis
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
- Excellent consultative, organization, customer service, analytical, and critical thinking skills, including the ability to translate business issues into technical solutions and successfully convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and high commitment to accuracy and auditing.
- Strong technical aptitude; advanced skills with various applications and systems including MS Office. Advanced database and spreadsheet skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency with mapping, analyzing, and re-engineering business processes in an organization of considerable complexity with diverse customer needs.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills (oral and written).
