What You Will Do
- Provide Technical Support: Assist internal teams by interpreting engineering drawings, reviewing design changes, and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Manage Technical Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely release of engineering change notices (ECNs) and technical drawings while collaborating with stakeholders to identify optimal solutions.
- Drive Cost Savings & Revenue Growth: Identify and validate cost reduction opportunities and revenue-enhancing aftermarket parts or processes, ensuring successful implementation.
- Support Product Development: Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance aftermarket product offerings and improve efficiency.
- Facilitate Continuous Improvement: Apply technical expertise to streamline engineering processes, resolve issues, and drive projects to completion.
- A detail-oriented problem-solver who enjoys tackling technical challenges.
- A strong communicator who collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A proactive and resourceful thinker with a drive for efficiency and innovation.
- Organized and analytical, with a keen eye for accuracy and process improvements.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field; Mechanical or Electrical preferred.
- Experience: Industry experience preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software for design interpretation and modifications.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
