General Purpose
The HR Assistant will perform administrative duties related to the operations of the human resource office and provide the necessary coverage for reception desk.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receives and distributes office mail
- Primary back-up for front desk reception coverage
- Schedule appointments, arrange meetings, and HR events
- Maintain calendars of HR management team
- Set-up for new employees (desk set-up, supplies, etc.)
- Organize and take minutes during departmental meetings
- Prepare required paperwork for employees under guidance of HR management
- Complete termination paperwork and schedule exit interviews
- Assist with organization of Company-sponsored events and activities
- Prepare and update basic human resource reports and spreadsheets
- Create and / or update documents, departmental forms, correspondence, and org charts as assigned
- Management of employee files
- Add / update employee records in various HR Systems
- Assist other members of the Human Resources Department with a variety of responsibilities and special projects
- Other duties as assigned
