General Purpose The Outbound Manager is primarily responsible for the effective allocation and waving of orders and transfers using the WMS WorkCenter. The position is responsible for 1, or more, direct reports who also oversee the WorkCenter and related email communications. The position is responsible for coordinating the timely shipping of orders by working with the rest of the Outbound team and Customer Service / International / Domestic.

Direct report(s): Allocation team, pickers and packers, all the Outbound teams. Other direct reports possible depending on operational needs.
Education/Experience Required
Associate’s Degree required or equivalent work experience (bachelor’s degree preferred)

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensures timely allocation and waving of orders and transfers downloaded to Resolv WMS by ship date
- Works with Pickers, Packers, Cust. Serv. and Inventory Dept. to ensure proper allocation and release of orders
- Ensures orders and transfers flow through systematically ERP / WMS / DCD / Etc.
- Provides feedback and status updates regarding possible back-order issues, order line changes and additions
- Works with other internal depts (Testing, Repair, Calibration, etc.) to ensure shipments are complete and on time
- Assists with paperwork, end of day communications, preparation for the next day and other related duties
- Assists with carrier pickups when necessary
- Coordinates with Warehouse Operations Manager to handle emergency openings on designated weekends
- Other operational / service-related duties as needed

- Microsoft Office with emphasis on Outlook and Excel
- ERP and WMS experience preferred (SAP B1 and RESOLV a plus but not required)
- Dematic / DCD experience preferred (a plus but not required)
- Occasional physical work (picking/packing/inspection) in the warehouse.
- Ability to stand / sit for prolonged periods of time
- General Office duties
- Warehouse and office.
- Hours are 10:00AM to FINISH with the ability to occasionally work on Saturdays
- Weekend On-Call availability (scheduled)
