What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pneumatic Electric Repair Technician position at HYTORC?
HYTORC is currently seeking a Tool Repair Technician to work on our line of Pneumatic / Electro-Mechanical Torque Multiplier tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Repairs and maintains torque tools, and equipment requiring mechanical, electrical or pneumatic repair and performs preventive maintenance services.
- Pretesting of pneumatic and electric tools and accessories for the sole purpose of proper form, fit and function.
- The job involves trouble-shooting, tearing down, repairing, reassembling and calibrating all types of torque multiplying tools in shop.
- Works with sales and service team members, engineers and customers to meet the growing day to day repair requirements.
- Checks tools for safety decals and safe operating features and maintains an accurate schedule and record of maintenance.
- Assists in familiarizing and training customers on tool operation and maintenance.
- Demonstrates orientation toward excellent customer service by conducting daily activities, communications and interactions in a cooperative, positive and professional manner.
