What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at HYTORC?
General Purpose: The purpose of the Quality Inspector is to visually and physically inspect parts for damages and dimensional compliance to the specification or drawing and to the company’s standards.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Education/Experience Required: 2 years’ of warehouse or quality experience.
Computer Skills Necessary: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ability to enter inspection results in company ERP system.

- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Review all documentation and instructions per HYTORC work instructions.
- Inspect parts in accordance with HYTORC procedures, specifications and drawings.
- Initiate the Non-Conformance identification process using ‘Red Tags’ and the CRM system.
- Moves nonconforming material to Q-Stage.
- Follows up with suppliers on NCR’s as necessary.
- Ability to accurately communicate with others.
- Report any quality issues to their supervisor.
- Works daily with other Inspection, Test, Calibration, Shipping, Receiving, Rental Demo Dept, Quality Assurance and all warehousing associates.
- Other duties as assigned.
