What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Specialist - Training position at HYTORC?
Our Productivity Enhancement Group has created a position for a Bolting Training Sales Specialist. We are looking for someone who has the same passion that took us from our humble roots to the world class organization we are today. Someone who will continue to push the limits of what is possible to provide our customers with the most advanced, safest, and productive bolting training solutions available.
- Independently generate leads and bring new fastening and bolting training solutions to industrial equipment owners, OEM’s, design firms and maintenance companies specializing in markets that utilize industrial size nuts and bolts.
- Schedule and conduct site visits to present our diverse ASME, OHSA, and HYTORC Bolting Academy paid training solutions and certifications, which enhance safety, quality, and schedule.
- Make warm and cold calls to customers to discuss the values of HYTORC training.
- Document needs of customer, meticulously follow up.
- Prepare cost estimates based on course, location, and number of learners.
- Determine pricing by analyzing market / competitors pricing and value.
- Gain customer acceptance by explaining the values provided through training; increased safety, higher quality of completed jobs, and cost savings through efficiency gains.
- Deliver technical presentations demonstrating how training will meet client needs.
- Collaborate with the Training Team, Territory Managers, and Distributors to coordinate training with site visits, strengthening customer service relationships.
- Collaborating with Unions, Technical Schools, and Colleges to develop plans to introduce trainings in existing and new markets.
Requirements
- Sales Experience Required
- Knowledge of ASME PCC-1 standard preferred
- Strong Technical or Mechanical background preferred
- Experience selling to Industrial Equipment Owners and OEM’s a plus
- Domestic travel required (50% - 75%)
- Experience with Industrial Fastening/Bolting a plus
