General Description Of Position
The Manufacturing Engineer I drives process improvement in the manufacturing area by monitoring current processes, identifying waste and eliminating it. The Manufacturing Engineer will also play a key role in determining capital needs, leading projects, developing cost reductions, and safety improvements.

The Manufacturing Engineer I drives process improvement in the manufacturing area by monitoring current processes, identifying waste and eliminating it. The Manufacturing Engineer will also play a key role in determining capital needs, leading projects, developing cost reductions, and safety improvements.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Work with shop floor employees to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop manufacturing processes to improve flow.
- Design and develop fixtures, tools, and facilities to support and improve current processes.
- Support daily activities to ensure safety, quality, and delivery.
- Research equipment related to capital improvements.
- Implement LEAN manufacturing methodology in process.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
