Responsibilities
- Collaborate with manufacturing employees to identify and implement process improvements.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, process optimization, and cost savings.
- Utilize systematic problem-solving methodologies to analyze root causes and develop countermeasures.
- Develop manufacturing processes to improve flow, reduce variability, and enhance efficiency.
- Design and implement fixtures, tools, and equipment to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
- Support daily operations to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and delivery objectives.
- Research, justify, and assist in implementing capital improvement projects.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to enhance operational performance.
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
- Knowledge of machines, tools, and their applications in a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of production processes, cost control, quality management, and raw materials.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, determine root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, and basic CAD/CAM applications.
- Strong analytical skills with an understanding of basic statistical tools for process evaluation.
- Experience with fabrication processes, including sheet metal, machining, stamping, dies, and tooling.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong communication skills.
