What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Engineer - SEAT position at Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI)?
Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc (HATCI) is looking for a Seat Engineer for our Superior Township, MI facility who will:
- Design and develop Seat Assemblies, and perform releasing duties for North American-based vehicle projects
- Work with Package Team and Design Studio to develop new models for N.A
- Develop Engineering Concepts and see parts through to Mass Production
- Develop innovative solutions to improve Seat Assemblies from cost/mass, performance, and quality perspectives
- Create and present technical reports to communicate project status and results
- Recommend engineering improvements through assessing current designs and competitor benchmarking

- Good communication and technical reporting skills
- Some experience utilizing Computer-Aided Design tools (capability in CATIA V5 ideal, but not required)
- Travel up to 15% of the time domestically and internationally
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Valid Driver's License & satisfactory driving record
