- Learn to use shop equipment
- Learn to make physical modeling tools
- Learn to use portable milling machines and program cutter paths for milling foam and clay models
- Learn to create physical models and develop surfaces by hand for design evaluation by designers and engineers following verbal instructions and drawings
- Learn to cut, bond, and weld metals, plastics, foams, and woods to create parts for armatures and physical models by following verbal instructions and drawings
- Learn to apply paint, film, and tape applications to physical model presentations by following verbal instructions
- Learn to fabricate CMF presentation models from wood, plastics, metals, fabrics, and leather
- Learn to perform general shop maintenance, such as organizing tools, keeping the modeling studio clean (i.e., shops and equipment), and crating and uncrating physical models
- Compensation:
- $26 ~ $32/Hour
