What to Expect
The Manager, Revenue is responsible for the overall management and execution of the revenue team. This includes but is not limited to product operations, OEM and other affiliate billings, cash, expense reconciliation, etc.
What You Will Do
Manage and mentor professional staff in the revenue and area. Oversee all aspects of product operations, affiliate billing, and suspense reconciliation activities and transaction execution. This includes but is not limited to monthly loan and lease revenue recognition, OEM billings, bimonthly dealer invoicing, monthly affiliate billings. Drive process improvements and promote operational efficiency in all areas
Promote a well-controlled environment which includes developing and maintaining policies and procedures, reviewing and approving monthly ledger account reconciliations, managing and mitigating compliance and operational risks through effective financial controls; and establishing team member goals and objectives
Responsible for the budget and resource deployment of the revenue unit and all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
What You Will Bring
Prior public audit experience (or equivalent) strongly desired
8 years of relevant accounting experience with emphasis in the automotive or financial services industries
5 years in a supervisory or management role
Bachelor's degree in in accounting / finance required
CPA / MBA strongly desired
Problem solver and strong decision-making abilities
Knowledge of how accounting systems are structured and function; ability to advise non-accounting staff on IT environment as it relates to accounting
Broad technical accounting background and a solid understanding of US GAAP
Excellent leadership and teamwork skills with the ability to lead staff to complete assignments
Strong analytical, presentation, communication, and organizational skills. Self-starter and highly motivated
Strong personal computer skills with advanced MS Excel skills
Able to establish a high level of credibility with all levels of internal operations, both technical and nontechnical
High energy and ability to work in a fast-paced business environment
Adaptive, innovative and creative to changes
WORK ENVIRONMENT
