This role will specifically be based at Mobis Corporate Center America (MCCA), the hub of our operations in the United States. MCCA plays an integral role in driving the success of Hyundai Mobis across the region and ensures seamless coordination, operational efficiency, and sustained innovation in every aspect of our business.

Responsibilities 

The IT Analyst provides support to the organization's IT infrastructure management including security, troubleshooting, and collaborating with MOBIS subsidiaries across North America. 



What You’ll do: 

• Installs, configures, maintains and monitors servers, networks, and systems, routers, switches, firewalls & VPNs
• Provide technical support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues in a timely manner, manage help desk tickets, troubleshooting networks and system related problems
• Implement and maintain security measures such as firewalls, antivirus, and encryption to protect company data, providing regular security audits and overseeing IT security policies. 
• Manage and execute regular backups to safeguard critical data, while developing and implementing disaster recovery plans. 
• Regularly update and patch operating systems, applications, and software while ensuring compatibility with new software and hardware deployments.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of systems, configurations, and network topologies while document troubleshooting steps and resolutions for future reference.
• Provide regular reports on IT performance, security status, and ongoing issues
• Identify areas for improvement in the IT infrastructure and workflows while proactively suggest and implement solutions to improve performance, scalability, and security.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support IT initiatives, software deployments, and infrastructure upgrades while assisting in the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with business goals.
• Liaise with external vendors and service providers to manage hardware, software, and IT services. 
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve IT operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, or a related field. Hands-on experience with various operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
• 5 years of experience in IT administration, supporting systems, networks, and infrastructure.

Skills and Capability

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, and networking devices.
• Familiarity with system monitoring tools and network management software.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, or similar)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear instructions to non-technical users.

Preferred Qualifications:

•  More than 5 years of experience in business analysis.
•  Previous experience in a similar role within an automotive part or manufacturing corporation.
•  IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network , Microsoft Certified IT Professional, Cisco CCNA, etc.)  
•  Proficiency in SQL and experience with DBMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
•   Experience working with BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik Sense or Power BI.
•   Bilingual proficiency (English and Korean).
