Manager, Accounting, Bilingual (English/Korean)

Overview

The Accounting Manager, Bilingual (English/Korean) performs general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes. The Accounting Manager is also responsible for maintaining systems for collecting, analyzing, and reporting information. 

The Accounting Manager will contribute to the establishment of MOBIS Module-Savannah Plant. Various operating standards and systems will be established to support the construction of buildings/facilities/equipment and to management an investment and a budget. After the establishment of a corporation, The Accounting Manager will oversee operating the determined standards and systems. Of course, even at this stage, if necessary, standards and systems can be improved.

Essential Functions

• Maintain the general ledger system
• Prepare and/or review appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations
• Ensure correct and timely month-end and year-end closing
• Assist with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities
• Coordinate the development of budgets, forecasts, and projections
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements/reports, and regulatory reporting as applicable
• Evaluate and make improvements to internal accounting processes
• All other duties as assigned

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Advanced computer skills: MS Office, accounting software and databases
• Knowledge of applicable bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
• SAP experience preferred but not mandatory
• High attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Education & Experience:

• 7 years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role

• Working knowledge of Accounting and Finance field
• Years of experience in the automotive field
• Bilingual (English/Korean) preferred but not mandatory

Certificates, Licenses, and Registration:

• CPA preferred but not mandatory
