Overview
The Process Control Specialist has the responsibility for the Module, Plastics, and MAIP production, shipping, and trucks in route to Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama (HMMA) and Mobis Georgia (MGA) plants
Responsibilities
Essential Functions (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
- Monitor the status of all lines of production (Module, Plastics, and MAIP) and manage utilization of each line, With the help of the HMMA screens and Mobis Production screen.
- Responsible for knowing how the plant is running at all times (Module, Plastics, and MAIP) during assigned shift
- Manage pattern times of all lines of production. i.e. Manage utilization on CP line with Manual Orders (MO’s) and skips to provide HMMA 100% satisfaction. Create M Orders for Quality issues to CP, FC, & RC as required.
- Maintain and correct the ASRS inventory by using the broadcasts from HMMA paint and actual vehicle build broadcasts. (Mobis vs HMMA)
- Gather information from managers about counter measures on specific downtime issues
- Understanding of Lean manufacturing and Specification Control to look up and determine the correct components needed for assembly of all products produced by MOBIS
- Support the testing and integration of new parts for production
- Conduct & Notify Engineering Change trials to related departments and OEM.
- Contact relevant parties when an issue arises and inform them on what the issue is and the status. Act as a liaison between MOBIS & its suppliers, and the OEM.
- Provide solutions resolving incorrect specification in production line or unexpected production stoppages
- Communicate with other members of Production Control and/or Departments about any significant changes in production plan and/or downtimes. Including communicate with the Trucking company on issues with the delivery and return travels of trucks to OEM
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly Production/ Downtime reports
- Support company values and goals to establish a world class organization.

- Other duties deemed necessary assigned by manager or managers
- Prompt, regular, predictable attendance
- Physical presence at work during all scheduled work hours
- Overtime and weekend work as required

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications (The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability desired for this position.)
Preferred Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, SCM, MIS or Business related field; or
Equivalent related experience in automotive manufacturing or production planning
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Excellent analytical skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Computer Skills: especially Microsoft Excel, MES and SAP
- Strong organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- 1 year experience in Automotive Manufacturing Area.

Working Conditions
- 90% office, 10% production floor
- Overtime as needed
- Flexible Schedule (2nd shift, 3rd shift)
