Responsibilities

  • Manage office communications, including answering phone calls and responding to emails.
  • Assist with calendar management, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
  • Maintain organized filing systems and ensure all documents are accurately filed.
  • Perform data entry tasks and manage records using QuickBooks or similar software.
  • Provide support as a medical or dental receptionist, including patient check-in/out processes.
  • Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution.
  • Assist in office management tasks such as ordering supplies and maintaining inventory.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an office setting; experience as a medical or dental receptionist is a plus.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is preferred but not required.
  • Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with phone systems and office equipment.
  • Bilingual abilities (Spanish/English) are highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in office management are a plus.
