Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee inventory control processes to ensure optimal stock levels of parts and supplies.
- Assist technicians in identifying and procuring the necessary parts for auto body repair and equipment maintenance.
- Perform data entry tasks related to inventory management and parts orders accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the service department to forecast demand planning for parts based on upcoming jobs and historical data.
- Utilize forklift equipment safely to move parts within the warehouse as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all tools and parts are stored properly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries regarding parts availability and specifications.
Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive service or repair is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with inventory control systems and demand planning processes.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment repair is a plus.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely; certification is preferred but not required at hire.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and customers.
