Position summary: The Utility Team Member provides support to the Quality department. Utility Team Members operate manufacturing equipment that can include: hand held equipment and tools, overhead cranes, powered industrial equipment including forklifts, and hand held measuring devices and equipment. Utility Team Members are responsible for working in a team oriented work environment following company policies and procedures as well as supporting and upholding company safety and quality goals.
Role qualifications:
· 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
· Ability to meet customer demand in a timely manner
· Forklift experience preferred
· Overhead crane experience preferred
Position responsibilities:
· Operate various types of equipment to include but not limited to: forklifts, overhead cranes, hand held tools and equipment, computers, control panels, and micrometers
· Read a metric tape measure
· Load and unload various types of products using provided equipment
· Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages
· Track and keep inventory
· Inspect and sort products
· Ensure that quality is a priority and the quality processes and procedures in place are followed
· Participate in training and also train new Team Members
· Notify Supervisor of any mechanical or material issues, including substandard products or equipment
· Ensure their work areas are clean and orderly.
· Report issues to the Supervisors that cannot be fixed or resolved and also bring insight on possible solutions
· Ability and willingness to rotate to other assigned responsibilities and shifts
· Must be able to successfully function within a team environment and be able to adapt to change
· Ability to work independently with limited supervision
· Perform other duties and work overtime as required

· Physical demands: Must be able to climb stairs, stand for extended periods of time (up to 12 hours at a time), and safely lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 75 lbs. frequently. Must be able to wear required Personal Protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time. Must be able to operate a forklift safely (position dependent). Must show proficiency in the operation of all necessary equipment. Possible exposure to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment. The Team Member is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard. The employee is required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
· Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, machinery and vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.

Pay: $16.25 - $16.55 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
