Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
- Handle cash, credit, and check payments, ensuring all transactions are balanced at the end of each shift.
- Provide outstanding customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier area.
- Collaborate with service staff to ensure seamless communication regarding customer accounts and service needs.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies as needed.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including security and privacy regulations.
- Making phone calls to follow up on service appointments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous cashier or retail experience preferred.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash and credit transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with automotive services is a plus but not required.
- Must have evening availability and weekend availability to be considered for this position.
