travelRN Must live 75 miles away from facility. Shift : nights 7p-7a. 48 hrs per week, 36 guaranteed hrs per week. Weekend : every other. 2 years of experience. 35 beds, oncology overflow, but no chemo, orthopedics, arm / hand surgery, hysterectomy, bariatric weight loss surgery, general med surge patients. Patient ratio : 4-5 patients to 1 nurse, 10-12 patients to 1 PCA. Top diagnosis / procedures : Ortho, oncology, pancreatitis, arm / hand infections, weight loss surgery, CKD, sickle cell. Common medications given : most medications are given on this unit, unless they are ICU specific, or more complicated cardiac medications
