What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cloud Sales Consultant position at Hyve Managed Hosting?
We are recruiting for a Cloud Sales Consultant to join the sales team at Hyve Managed Hosting Inc in Austin.
As Cloud Sales Consultant you'll be expected to:
- Tailor your sales pitch to the specific needs of the client, using VMware’s products to solve their challenges related to scalability, security, performance, and cost reduction.
- Be ready to act as a consultant, assessing the customer's current IT infrastructure and recommending the appropriate VMware-based cloud solution (private, hybrid, or multi-cloud).
- Understand how VMware addresses cloud security, including data encryption, compliance, and network security (NSX, vSphere, etc.). Be prepared to discuss how VMware meets various industry standards (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).
- Identify and qualify leads through various channels (cold calling, inbound marketing, networking, etc.).
Requirements:
- B2B Sales Experience in selling technology products or services to businesses, particularly in the enterprise or mid-market sectors.
- The ability to effectively present technical cloud solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders..
- Strong skills in negotiating deals and closing sales, especially in complex or long sales cycles.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
- 3 years in Cloud Hosting
Desirables:
- Proven success in business development for both SMB and enterprise clients.
- Strong revenue growth through strategic selling, negotiations, presentations, and proposals.
- Consistently use a consultative, solution-oriented approach with a proactive attitude.
- Skilled at presenting services and tailoring approaches to different audiences.
- Excellent customer service, resolving inquiries quickly and effectively.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
