Hyve Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven individual with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment with responsibilities that include managing all aspects of the quality control production process, fall-out, audits and ISO; ensuring that division and departmental practices comply with company requirements; achieve stated objectives and meet current ISO standards.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and grow our Hardware Engineering team.
- Manage 3 New Production Introduction (NPI) teams : Server Hardware Engineering, Rack Hardware Engineering, and Networking Rack Engineering. Total team size is 15 to 25 people.
- Server Team owns internally designed and customer designed hyperscale and AI servers. Team will work with internal hardware design teams and / or customer hardware design teams on system level L10 specifications, design tradeoffs, validation of L10 hardware, and introduction into mass production.
- Rack team owns L11 level of customer specified racks with Top of Rack (TOR) switches and L10s from the server team. Team works with internal and external teams on port to port connections, cable matrix, TOR configuration, and rack level performance.
- Networking Rack team owns customer data center networking racks. Team works with internal and external teams on switch selection, port to port connections, cable matrix, switch configuration, and networking performance.
- Team works with Technical Program Managers on customer facing activities, Manufacturing Program Managers on development builds, NPI manufacturing on build support, Manufacturing Engineering on DFM, Test Engineering on validation and manufacturing tests, and Software team on shop floor control and test automation integration.
- Collaborate with key technology partners to integrate their products.
- Escalation point for customer hardware and configuration issues.
- Understand form, fit, and function of all types of server related hardware for new and existing projects.
- Work with internal and field engineers to identify customer technical requirements and propose viable solutions.
- Determine refinements to existing hardware designs to better meet customer needs.
- Analyze current technologies used within the company and develop steps and processes to improve testing procedures.
- Understanding of networking protocols and equipment.
