Environmental Health & Safety Engineer Role:
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer to join our team at @HYVE Solutions.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring company-wide EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This includes maintaining safety equipment inventory, performing periodic safety inspections, monitoring hazardous waste removal vendors, and assisting in consolidating hazardous wastes.
The successful candidate will also conduct training in emergency response and hazardous material handling, as well as monitor environmental compliance and maintain liaison with regulatory agencies. Additionally, they will recommend corrective action where EHS hazards exist.
This role involves a range of activities, including industrial hygiene, life safety, and ergonomic compliance-related tasks. The successful candidate will interact with various departments, including administration, to implement workplace ergonomics and program solutions.
