Responsibilities
- Accurately post payments from insurance companies and patients into the billing system.
- Review and analyze remittance advice and explanation of benefits (EOB) documents.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies or issues related to payment postings.
- Reconcile payments with patient accounts and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Collaborate with billing and collections teams to address paymentrelated inquiries and issues.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies regarding financial transactions.
- Maintain detailed records of payment activities and generate reports as required.

High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor s degree in finance or healthcare administration preferred. Previous experience in healthcare billing, collections, or payment posting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of health insurance and payment processes, including knowledge of EOBs. Proficiency in using billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks. Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and resolving payment issues. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
