Job Overview
I-2-I Solutions is seeking a qualified provider for Mobile Breast Ultrasound Services at the Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility (CCHCF) in Red Mesa, Arizona. This contract supports the Indian Health Service (IHS) in providing essential diagnostic imaging services to American Indian and Alaska Native communities.
Scope of Work
- Service Location: On-site at CCHCF
- Schedule: 2-4 days per month, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (overtime possible)
- Duration: Contract options include short-term (13 weeks) and long-term (1-3 years)
Duties
- Perform breast ultrasound imaging and related procedures
- Assist with ultrasound-guided biopsies (fine needle, thoracentesis, paracentesis)
- Ensure imaging meets Quality Assurance standards
- Maintain accurate EHR documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA, Joint Commission, and IHS protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for continuity of patient care
Experience
- Previous experience in diagnostic radiology or medical imaging is preferred.
- Familiarity with Ob/Gyn ultrasound procedures is a plus.
- Strong understanding of patient care practices and the ability to provide empathetic support during examinations.
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and safety standards within a clinical environment is essential.
- Excellent communication skills are required for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members.
Key Qualifications
- Certification: ARDMS with Breast Certification
- Experience: Skilled in breast ultrasound imaging
- License: Valid & unrestricted U.S. professional license
- Compliance: Must pass Level I & II background checks
- Health Requirements: Up-to-date immunizations (Hep A/B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, TB test, Flu)
- Cultural Awareness: Understanding of Native American healthcare and traditions
