Interior Designer

I-5 Design-Build is looking for a full-time Interior Designer with Hospitality / Casino / Food & Restaurant Design Experience to join our team! I-5 specializes in Gaming and Hospitality with high impact, unique projects in the Casino, Restaurant and Retail industries. You'll work with a dynamic team to create highly successful, beautiful, and efficient projects. Our design and construction teams are in-house, allowing streamlined coordination between architects, designers, and construction teams, in order to minimize headaches and create excellent results for our clients. Qualification for the job will be based on experience, knowledge and work experience.

COMPENSATION:

• Base salary $135,000 - $150,000
• Cash bonuses in addition to base salaries based on project performance

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with in-house design and architectural teams to specify materials for Hospitality, Casino/Gaming, and Food & Beverage projects.
• Work with in-house design and architectural teams to carry out conceptual design intent in the best way for high impact casino-related projects while also making sure work is planned and detailed to be feasible and efficient.
• Create fully scheduled materials within Revit for use by the Architectural production team.
• Source and digitally catalog design materials for use by our in-house Conceptual Design and Architectural teams.
• Work with Conceptual Design Team and Architectural Production Team to provide design assistance and Revit drafting where needed, based on current project workloads.

COMPETENCIES:

• Minimum of 5 Years' Interior Design experience for Hospitality / Casino / Food & Beverage projects.
• Software Requirements: Proficiency in Sketchup and Autodesk Revit
• Ability to collaborate with designers and architectural drafters.
• Ability to effectively develop vendor relationships.
• Team player with positive interpersonal and communication skills.
• Portfolio of previous work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $135,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
