Position Overview: As a Cheer Coach at I Adore Athletics, you’ll work with children ages 4-11, teaching cheerleading routines and fundamental techniques while fostering teamwork, confidence, and spirit. Our recreational cheer program emphasizes enthusiasm, discipline, and fun. While non-competitive, we aim to provide a strong foundation in cheerleading through quality instruction and engaging activities.
We’re seeking an enthusiastic, part-time Cheer Coach to lead our program in schools across Fort Bend ISD. This role requires availability Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 6 PM. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children and can bring energy, professionalism, and creativity to each session. Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead cheer practices focusing on fundamental techniques and routines.
- Teach age-appropriate cheerleading choreography, emphasizing rhythm, coordination, and team spirit.
- Create a positive and inclusive environment that encourages teamwork and confidence.
- Provide constructive feedback to support skill improvement and personal growth.
- Promote creativity, discipline, and a love for cheerleading.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of cheerleading fundamentals and choreography.
- Experience working with children of various ages and skill levels.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage young athletes.
- Flexibility to adapt coaching methods to individual and group needs.
Requirements:

- Passion for working with children.
- Previous experience in cheerleading, coaching, or related fields preferred.
- Reliable transportation.
- Availability Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 6 PM.
Job Details:
- Job Type: Part-time, Contract
- Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
- Expected Hours: 2-10 per week
