Summary/Objective
The Data Compliance Specialist supports the Compliance Manager in ensuring that the organization adheres to all regulatory and internal compliance requirements. This role involves preparing monthly governance reports related to onboarding compliance, certification expiration, annual training, and special projects. Additionally, the Data Compliance Specialist organizes reportable formats for audits and monitoring, collects and inputs data, and manages communication to team members regarding compliance requirements.
Essential Functions
- Assist in the preparation of monthly governance reports for onboarding compliance, certification expiration, and annual training.
- Compile data and ensure accuracy in all reports presented to the Compliance Manager.
- Organize and format compliance data for audit and monitoring purposes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure submitted data is accurate and complete.
- Collect and input data from audits and monitoring activities into monthly reports.
- Provide timely data to Compliance Manager to allow for timely email reminders to team members about upcoming or overdue compliance requirements.
- Maintain clear and effective communication channels to ensure all team members are aware of compliance expectations and deadlines.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of all compliance-related data.
- Assist in maintaining databases and systems used for tracking compliance metrics.
- Assist in special projects as assigned by the Compliance Manager.
- Provide support in developing and implementing new compliance initiatives and processes.
- Work closely with other departments to gather necessary compliance data and information.
- Support the Compliance Manager in coordinating compliance activities across the organization.
- Maintain access to portals for provider compliance, certification, and accreditation entities.
Assist in maintaining and updating the rules and enforcement project board by reviewing and entering accurate and timely data.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures in addition to regulations, laws and other requirements from applicable governing bodies, certification, licensure and/or accreditation entities, etc.
-This operates in a professional office environment but may at times work in the community. This role may be able to engage in remote work but will need to be available to be on-site/in person as needed. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers.

Education, Skills, Experience and Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 2-4 years' experience in Data Management and Data Governance
- Proficiency in Excel and other data management tools
