Summary
The Dentist, DDS, will provide comprehensive dental care to patients, actively diagnose and treat dental conditions, injuries, and irregularities of the oral cavity and related tissues, and provide education regarding prevention and oral hygiene.
Essential Functions/Primary Job Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat dental conditions to provide optimum care to patients.
• Manage dental assistants and work well with other dentists and hygienists.
• Consult with the patient/parent/guardian and advise them of dental status and required treatment.
• Performs dental procedures, diagnoses, and treats dental conditions, including cleanings, restorative, preventative treatments, extractions, emergencies, and other dental procedures.
• Educate patients regarding oral conditions, provide treatment options, and explain to the patient/parent/guardian the risks, benefits, and alternatives of each option.
• Treat dental conditions for patients of all ages, and if unable to provide a particular service, to a patient, provide the patient with the appropriate specialty referral.
• Provide quality care to the patients of I Am Boundless, within the scope of practice outlined by state and/or federal law.
• Deliver care in accordance with established standards of care and accepted community standards.

Qualifications & Experience:
•A Doctor of Dental Medicine or Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from an accredited university.
•At least one year of experience is strongly preferred.
•New grads are welcome to apply
Required Certifications and Licenses
•Current Ohio dental license.
•Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid, CPR - adult, child, and infant. (Training will be provided, if not already certified)
Supervisory Responsibility
This job does not require supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
Clinical environment with 4 fully operating operatories, electronic health records, and digital x-rays.
