Summary/Objective
The Project Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of Planning and Business Optimization projects within Boundless. Their role involves coordinating project activities, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. A Project Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects by overseeing project planning, coordination, monitoring, and communication.
Essential Functions
- Project Planning: Collaborating with project stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables. Developing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Project Coordination: Organizing and scheduling project activities, tasks, and resources. Assigning responsibilities to team members and ensuring their adherence to project plans.
- Progress Monitoring: Tracking project progress and milestones. Identifying and resolving issues or risks that may impact project timelines or outcomes. Conducting regular status meetings and providing project updates to stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitating effective communication between project team members, stakeholders, and management. Providing timely and accurate project updates and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Documentation and Reporting: Creating and maintaining project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes. Generating comprehensive project reports to evaluate project performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Team Collaboration: Promoting a collaborative and positive team environment. Facilitating teamwork, resolving conflicts, and providing support and guidance to team members.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices. ---Evaluating project outcomes and lessons learned to enhance future project management processes.
- Provides user education on Project tools and processes.
- Serves as Product Owner for project management tools.
- This position operates in a professional office environment.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures in addition to regulations, laws and other requirements from applicable governing bodies, certification, licensure and/or accreditation entities, etc.

Education, Skills, Experience and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
- Relevant professional experience 1 year
- Project management experience a plus
- Organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Computer proficiency, particularly with spreadsheet programs such as Microsoft Excel and Monday.com.
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record, if applicable.
