Description
- Work with licensed engineers to develop skills and knowledge.
- Learn building codes and design practices.
- Lay out equipment in spaces to meet project needs (lighting, fire alarm, receptacles etc.)
- Do photometrics and work with the software for preliminary lighting layouts.
- Work with mechanical engineers to pick up power for their equipment.
- Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
- Assist in client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.
- Operate engineering software to solve specific problems, and inputs the data required by the program.
