YOUR ROLE IN CREATING GERONIMOMENTS
In this role, you’ll be a key part of our team, ensuring that every guest leaves with a lasting impression. Your voice matters here—use it to build the future, make an impact, and continuously improve the guest experience.
As the Line Cook, you will serve customers with the consistency and quality food that they expect from our establishment. You will work as a team to create a memorable dining experience for all of our members and their guests.
WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
- Know and understand every item on the menu (including portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules); assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served
- Work closely with the Chef to provide absolute consistency on every plate
- Timing is everything; work on timing to get every ticket out in an appropriate amount of time
- Communicate consistently with co-workers
- Keep your work station clean and stocked
- Practice safe knife handling; if training is needed, see the Chef
- Open/close the kitchen properly and follow the opening/closing checklist for kitchen stations

Requirements
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED
- At least one year of Kitchen experience preferred but not required
- Basic math skills required (must be able to add, subtract, and count change back to customer)
- Legible handwriting
- Strong customer service and oral communication skills
- Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms, lift, carry, and deliver boxes and items that may weigh up to 50 pounds
- If over 18, you will be required to use slicers and heavy equipment
- Smoothly navigate dining room, kitchen and other facility areas, attend work as scheduled, working various schedules and shifts throughout normal business hours
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Protective Clothing Required: Non-slip shoes
MANDATORY REQUIREMENT
- U.S. Work Authorization (required).
