Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will play a crucial role in the bidding process, helping to secure contracts for upcoming projects.
Responsibilities
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate pricing.
- Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and Plan Hub for efficient estimating processes.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.
- Prepare bid proposals and present them to clients, ensuring clarity and transparency in pricing structures.
- Monitor project budgets throughout the construction process, making adjustments as necessary to stay within financial constraints.
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather data for accurate estimates.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and labor costs to maintain competitive pricing strategies.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is required.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with contract negotiation processes is preferred.
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as Bluebeam and Plan Hub is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all estimates provided.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour
