Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support and mentoring to individuals facing mental health and addiction challenges.
- Utilize personal recovery experiences to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Assist clients in setting personal goals and developing individualized recovery plans.
- Facilitate group sessions focused on skill-building, coping strategies, and shared experiences.
- Offer crisis intervention support as needed, employing effective crisis management techniques.
- Educate clients about available resources within the behavioral health system.
- Advocate for clients' needs within various systems, including healthcare and community services.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress in accordance with organizational policies.
Skills
