Overview
We are seeking 2 dedicated and compassionate LCSW, LCSWA, LCAS and/or LCASA to join our team. The ideal candidates will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality mental health and substance abuse services to individuals and families. As an LCSW/LCSWA or LCAS/LCASA, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating various mental health and substance abuse conditions while ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulations.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide individual, family, and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure the best outcomes for clients.
- Engage in case management activities, including referrals to community resources and support services.
- Utilize knowledge of ICD-9 coding for accurate diagnosis and treatment documentation.
- Address the unique needs of children and families through specialized counseling approaches, including child family counseling and special education considerations.
- Facilitate or co-facilitate substance abuse groups
- Incorporate Christian counseling principles when appropriate, respecting clients' beliefs and values.
Experience
- A valid LCSW/LCSWA license is required OR
- A valid LCAS/LCASA license is required
- Experience working with children and families is preferred.
- Experience working with substance abuse and addiction is preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to mental health care.
- Previous experience in case management is advantageous.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is essential for maintaining client confidentiality.
