Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Dispatcher

Responsibilities

• Manage daily transportation routes while ensuring timely pickup and drop-offs
• Utilize GPS and other tracking systems to monitor the vehicles/drivers and provide updates to clients.
• Perform data entry tasks related to dispatching activities, maintaining accurate transportation records.
• Analyze trip related data to optimize routes and improve overall efficiency.
• Collaborate with drivers, clients, and third-party providers to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Maintain communication with management to ensure all vehicles are properly utilized and maintained.
• Assist in training new dispatch staff on systems and procedures as needed.

Experience

• Proven experience in dispatching or a related field within logistics is preferred.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems and tools.
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze route/trip data for effective decision-making.
• Proficient in using GPS technology for route planning and tracking.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this role.

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed
