At I Got Skills, our mission is to develop confidence, character, and community through soccer. We provide youth and families with opportunities to play, learn, and grow in an inclusive environment. From camps and clinics to competitive leagues, we aim to foster a lifelong love for the game while building essential life skills.

Position Overview

The Part-Time Executive Director will lead I Got Skills' operations, strategic planning, and community engagement. This role combines high-level organizational leadership with hands-on involvement in financial oversight, fundraising, and program support. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors, staff, and community stakeholders to ensure the academy’s growth and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
Organizational Leadership

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve the I Got Skills mission and goals.
  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors to guide organizational governance and long-term planning.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for staff and program directors.

Financial and Administrative Oversight

  • Create and manage the organizational budget, ensuring financial stability.
  • Oversee administrative processes, including record-keeping, compliance, and reporting.
  • Manage grant applications, sponsorships, and donor relations.

Community Engagement and Fundraising

  • Build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, partners, and donors.
  • Represent the academy at events and in communications with external partners.
  • Drive fundraising efforts, including sponsorships, grants, and campaigns.

Program Support

  • Provide oversight and support for soccer club, camps, clinics, and classes.
  • Assist program directors with planning and logistics as needed.

QualificationsEducation & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a nonprofit or similar organization.
  • Proven success in fundraising, grant writing, and financial management.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is highly organized, proactive, and welcoming. The ideal candidate will have a passion for making a difference in the community and the skills to lead both strategically and operationally.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: $25,000–$35,000 annually (20-25 hours per week).
  • Flexible work schedule, with hybrid remote and in-person opportunities.
