Job Responsibilities
- Machine parts to specs using machine tools such as lathes, shapers or grinders
- knowledge of measuring tools to include calipers, gauges, etc., is required
- Responsible for the proper set-up of machine tools and materials into the machines, as needed.
- Measure, examine and test completed units for defects using tools
- Study and sample parts based off schematics, blueprints, etc.
- Must be able to move up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the shift
- Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions
- Must be able to position self to operate machines, and any other tools as necessary
- Must be able to wear protective gear such as steel toed boots
- Are sometimes exposed to very hot or very cold temperatures. Workspaces may not be temperature-controlled.
- May have to get into awkward positions to reach cramped workspaces.
- Monday-Friday 10:45PMAM-7:15AM with overtime and weekends, as needed
