I.K. Hofmann, USA has a great opportunity for a temp to hire role in the Spartanburg area. This candidate must have prior experience operating a manual lathe.
We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Cylinder Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in operating various machining tools and equipment to produce high-quality parts.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate manual lathe
- Fabricate hydraulic cylinder rod, barrel, piston and gland
- Must be familiar with OD and ID threading and standard and metric components
- Perform precision machining to tight tolerances using a variety of tools
- Inspect machined parts using precision measuring instruments like bore gauges and calipers
- Maintain equipment by cleaning and performing routine maintenance
