Now Hiring Material Handlers to support production on 3rd shift.
3rd Shift Hours: 10pm-6am Sunday-Thursday nights
Reports to: Production Line Supervisor
Summary:
A material handler plays a vital role in ensuring our production lines are continuously stocked with needed raw materials and transporting materials and finished products throughout the facility using material handling equipment. This is a fast-paced position that will require the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload. Fifty percent of the time will be spent palletizing and wrapping pallets and the other fifty percent will be spent supplying the line with materials. This position is fast-paced and very hands on. This role does not operate a forklift.
Responsibilities:
- Locates materials and supplies by picking and verifying materials and supplies listed on the work order.
- Maintains in-process inventory at the production line by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
- Receives return material and supplies from production by verifying material quantity; placing materials back in stock.
- Prepares finished stock for shipment by labeling, loading, pulling, and securing product.
- Documents product quantity to be shipped by accurately recording cases on pallet sheet.
- Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections, making operator repairs.
- Aware of operational environment to ensure safety for self and others at all times.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Operates and maintains various material handling equipment including forklift, pallet jacks, hand trucks and utility carts.
- Maintains organized, clean safe work area.
- Working with RF Scanning equipment to maintain records of merchandise shipped, as well as examine, stock and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
- Finished goods palletizing.
- Performs additional duties assigned.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand / walk for extended periods of time, 95% standing, lifting, walking, bending
- Ability to lift 20 to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout the course of a shift without assistance
- Ability to utilize pallet jack, manual and electric
- Areas with temperature and humidity variations based on local weather
- Provided PPE must be worn when required and safety precautions must be followed
Education/Experience:
- High School education or equivalent
- 3-6 months related experience
- Prior material handling or inventory experience preferred
