Description :
The responsibilities will include both new development as well as maintenance tasks. Specific tasks will include:
- Leading the technical design for new development and system enhancements
- Coordinating the technical solutions among various technical support groups
- Making changes in multiple systems to enable changes required by legislation
- Implementing technical solutions * Leading requirements gathering sessions
- Leading the analysis of requirements and system design work
- Coding, unit and integration testing of programming assignments
- Technical support of user testing efforts
- Mentoring of, and knowledge transfer to less experienced staff
- SQL creation and execution
Mandatory Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience coding in PowerBuilder.
- 10 years of experience writing technical design specification documents for multifaceted component-based systems.
- 5 years of experience in data transformation and loading using SQL in a Sybase Relational database environment.
- 7 years of experience with an organization working in application life cycle including, requirements gathering, technical design, development, maintenance and end user support.
- 5 years experience with Java programming using J2EE technologies.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $40.14 - $48.34 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
