Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineer II

Location: Chantilly, VA (Remote Work)

Note: This position may require occasional visits to our headquarters and some OCONUS travel.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Engineer II to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in both ICT and OT environments, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a passion for securing critical systems. This is a partime W2 5 years contract role, open exclusively to USC and GC candidates located in the DC Metro Area. Federal experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity, including at least 4 years in OT environments.
• Proven track record in cybersecurity architecture, design, and implementation.
• Expertise in OT security, secure SCADA architectures, industrial firewalls, industrial IoT (IIoT), and PLCs.
• Demonstrated experience in performing Cybersecurity assessments.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, AWS Security Specialty, Microsoft SC-100) are a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST SP 800 series, FIPS 199, and ISO/IEC 27000.
• Familiarity or experience with IEC 62443 Series and ISO/IEC 15408 Series is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience utilizing AI/ML for anomaly detection in ICS environments and predictive cybersecurity analytics.
• Cloud cybersecurity expertise.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel internationally for occasional facility security assessments.
