Job description
- Utilize work orders, blueprints, sketches, written and verbal instructions to create job requirements
- Interpret blueprints and draw (draft) flat pattern layouts of parts with CAD/CAM
- Work directly with client's engineers
- Reverse engineer parts
- Work with production and machine operators
Required Skills
- Tech School education or on the job experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams and departments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Must be able to type, sit for long periods of time, and lift up to 15lbs at a time.
- Advance computer skills
Desired Skills
- 2-3 years of machine programming experience.
