Purpose of the Job
The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for initiating, managing and growing long-term relationships with channel partners through the promotion of the full i-PRO security solutions portfolio; resulting in increased territory pipeline and revenue. AMs must be champions for resolving partner challenges by coordinating internal resources to uphold customer satisfaction, providing an overall world-class customer experience. Successful AMs will have exceptional business, CRM, computer, problem solving, organization, and communication skills.
Key Accountabilities
- Build strong business relationships with new and existing channel partners through proactive engagement to set meetings.
- Identify revenue opportunities which contribute to territory pipeline and business strategy.
- Quote and coordinate physical security system design using CRM and other technical tools available.
- Solution demonstrations and reseller partner business review meetings via webinar.
- Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to partners.
- Collaborate with all sales roles within a territory to onboard, support, and develop reseller partners in addition to managing an opportunity pipeline within the CRM.
- Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure fulfillment of customer requests.
- Develop account strategies and identify industry trends.
- Maintain a high level of customer and partner satisfaction with a quick response and resolution.
Qualifications: Education & Experience
- BA or BS, Business Administration preferred
- 2 to 3 years of sales experience, with a preference for technology sales

- Able to administer and control pricing and discounts
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
- Comfortable with pipeline development and maintenance
- Strong technical computer application skills including Microsoft office 365 suite
- Strong time management ability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to recognize and prioritize tasks
- Ability to operate in a high intensity sales environment with monthly quotas and KPIs
- Ability to operate independently without close supervision
