About The Position
Our selected candidate will teach courses in Intercultural Diversity (Management) at the undergraduate, graduate and/or postgraduate level. As such, we are looking for candidates with a Master’s, DBA or PhD degree, strong teaching skills, and who are fluent in English, as most courses are taught in this language. Good knowledge of French is a strong plus.
Our selected candidate is also expected to coordinate the Intercultural Competencies (ITC) track. This implies that he/she/they will contribute to the development of the curriculum related to intercultural competencies and manage the pool of adjunct faculty who teach these courses (through their recruitment, staffing, and daily management). Importantly, the ITC track is embedded in a large ongoing project at the school level regarding soft/people skills.
If applicable, the position could also include a limited research mission, in case our selected candidate has a PhD and a strong research profile in intercultural diversity (management).
Finally, we are looking for candidates who embody our core values of Accomplishment, Responsibility, Integrity, Solidarity, and Engagement, and fit our diverse and international culture in which over 45 nationalities are represented. IÉSEG places tremendous value on diversity and inclusion, and we therefore encourage applications from all backgrounds. Underrepresented groups in academia (notably women, minority ethnic groups, people identifying as LGBTQIA , people with a (non-)visible disability, and people from lower socio-economic backgrounds and/or economically developing countries) are particularly encouraged to apply, as we are highly committed to ensuring that IÉSEG reflects and benefits from the diversity present in society.
WORKING AT IÉSEG
At IÉSEG, we are committed to providing a supportive and engaging work environment.
